A Question Not Often Discussed

The one on the left is one of the first twin sets that I know of, called the ranger. The knife/axe set was called the Woodsman set.

Beautiful sets HK, I have been busy locating as many as I can find. I'm not doing to bad. I love your ranger set. Thats a 107 and 105?

HK, Fantastic! There is a Woodsman Twin Set model 116 featured in the March 2010 newsletter. With elk handles a 118 and a sharpening stone. The sheath is a little different from the one shown above. Its from Heath Stone's collection 1956-59. HK's twin set is the earliest. DM

Well just a side note but in one of the first posts in this thread I hoped that the unknown knife fieries that surf the blade forums to find out what people want and then list them on the auction sites have struck again. Three of these sets have hit the auction in the last couple of days. One of the sets is from the custom shop and is really nice, not my personel taste but very nice.
