I had this 1 on order for awhile. The wife gave it to me for Christmas.
This is a 1 of a kind, I got Al(Warren) to make to my specs, had him go all out a bit of bling. Has 3" Devin Thomas double stainless, raindriop pattern.

Handle is 4 1/4 lockback with NS Bolsters stainless pins.
The scales are shagreen(stingray skin) with spacers. A real thick & comfortable.
I'm really happy with, it got a workout over Christmas opening the kids toys.

Congrats, Mitch. I've heard a lot of good things about Al's work. Looks like a good useful knife.

Thanks Blues:thumbup:
Yep Al does great flat grinds.
This will be real handy trimming a bit of leather here & there.
Cheers

Wow - very interesting knife. I love the handle material. Adds a rather unusual look to it. And the blade looks like it's just askin' for work...

thx - cpr

Super interesting. I wonder if the shagreen will mold in to the shape of your hand. That would be really cool.

God Bless

Mitch,

What a beautiful custom! Looks like you got it all your way too, certainly is one-of-a-kind. I am a fan of stabilized natural animal skin as knife scales/handle material.

I am intrigued by the shagreen-stingray hide. Can you please elaborate a little on the process?

Anthony

Thanks for the kind words:thumbup:

Sunnyd- You refering to the processing of the hide? I don't know a great deal about I'll send you an email.
