Any favorites? Keepers? And what are your thoughts on that Bradford Guardian 3.5?
Oh too many favorites, that's my problem! The Bradford G3.5 is definitely a keeper. Easily one of my favorite fixed blades.
Always enjoy your posts...now it's your thread. Nice! I'm definitely on the down-swing side of things, but still having fun. I've had nice collections of CRK, PM2's and Millies, SurviveKnives, Striders, Bradford 3G's, a few one-off custom folders built to my specs, along with some "pretty" custom fixed (useless to me) and dumped most of all that in last several yrs, and now have very few samples left.
Been going into cross-draw fixed blades...inspired by my 8 or 9 Bradford 3G's...now down to one in Vanadis 4E. Had some Fiddleback fixed, five Busse 3" samplers, one CPK EDC3, and now one WA Surls Bobcat 3" on the way here, along with other "singlets" that come and go.
I still carry a clipped folder, Spydie Slysz Bowie (my all-time favorite along with lge Sebbie) and most recently the MassDrop Keen Laconico...which is an amazing knife.
I have found that I seldom use the clipped knife since I "discovered" the Bradford over two yrs ago. It is so quick and easy to draw a cross-draw small fixed blade of 7" OAL that I've pretty well exhausted my primary love-fest for folders.
Carrying my one remaining Busse, the 3" Whiskey Warden for several months now, but the WA Surls might force a change. STILL CHASING THAT ELUSIVE GRAIL...
Killing me. I might try to trade the Sprint Pm2 that I picked up for a portal keen laconico.
The guardian 3.5 is what I feel like the Izulu should have been. I just couldn't get on with the Izulu's crappy handle.
Halden,I thought you had a zt 0220 early on; what made you buy it again? I have one, great knife seems like a sleeper in the knife world ...
Its a crazy good knife. A great first integral for me.Love that WE Drakon.

I'm in to see how things change by this time next year. Already have 2 other preorders that should be shipped by end of month. Also know I will get Hinderer HT at some point. No fixed blade yet as I cannot find one I will actually carry. Fingers crossed something catches my eye. Also want to try my first auto as well. There goes my budget. : )
It should work pretty well for you. I carry a Hitch and Timber wallet, and have for many months now, in my front pocket. The one that carries a pen and notebook though.halden.doerge Is that leather pen/knife caddy in your photos from Hitch and Timber? I've been eyeing something similar from them, but I'm not sure how well it would work as a front pocket carry.
