Adam Michaels 7 year old Birthday Knife

I have been making my son Adam a knife for his birthday since he was 2 years old. The first knife i made was for his second birthday. I give him my first of anything that i try to make, for his birthday, first knife, first folder, first knife with pearl and carbon fiber, ect.

This is the knife for his 7th birthday. It is my first attempt at Damascus, and my first attempt at heat coloring the blade and guard. I also made the nut for the pommel.

I had to lighten up the handle in photoshop but the blade colors are pretty accurate in the photo.

Ill adopt you if you promise to take care of me when I get old and crappy and forget who I am. Ofcourse if i cant remember my own name I wont remember that you promised to take care of me.
