Yes, an old post with nothing of note added .... 15 degrees is 15 degrees. Someone may argue that 14.8 isn't 15, but that isn't a valid argument in knives. For a mars lander over several million miles it is a huge error, but a piece of yellowtail won't know the difference on a 1.25" wide knife. Also, to point out the error in the new post, he is referring to the primary bevel angle, which is a lower angle than the diagrams ( on a 1.25 wide blade in .125" steel the primary bevel is 5.5°) . The included secondary angle, which sets the edge, is a higher number ( between 20° and 40°)on knives, and is independent of the primary bevel.
