aftermarket ikbs system possible?

i was wondering if the IKBS bearing system can be installed on a knife aftermarket. The reason i ask is i have a bradley mayhem balisong that i just love and feel the only way this knife could be improved is with that system. Has anyone here used it or done an aftermarket mod of this kind? i also want to follow the rules and not piss off ikoma or korth in doing this but i see alot of manufacturers using it and even ripping it off and calling it there own and i dont want to do that. I would just love to have a IKBS powered mayhem

It would require a fair bit of metal in every direction from the pivot, so that you could cut in the recess without weakening the handle.

Other than that, no clue.
