Albers Cutlery Company

So far I've received all my packages, but USPS is really having some problems lately. I bought a knife off a guy in Ohio. It went to Pontiac Michigan, which is the wrong direction. Then it went to KC which is 100 miles west of me. Then it went to Indianapolis, which is a couple of hundred miles east of me. Then there was no tracking for a couple of days. Then it just showed up at the house o_O

I mailed a letter 10 days ago to a location that should only take 4, maybe 5, days at most. It never got there as far as I know. Hopefully things will get better after the holidays and once covid is reigned in.

Out of 47 boxes that I mailed out between Dec 7th and 8th only TWO of them have gotten to their destinations so far, and they were all Priority Mail too. I've never seen it this bad. Hopefully they'll start trickling in soon.

That's crazy. I got mine fairly quick and it made the long journey from NY to CA. Considering myself lucky.

For what it's worth I read a report this morning from 2 USPS supervisors that USPS is broken and packages have ground to a halt over most of the country, only thing getting through is letters. I have a knife that has been sitting in a distribution center since the 8th. Apparently USPS is not doing much to fix the problem.

I guess mine is the other one that made it. Wow, I’m even luckier that I thought. Mine had to go from NY to IL. Not a short distance. Good luck to the other 45!

Like John, I have 3 knives from other areas of the country that were shipped on the 7/8th and all three are stuck in cities other than mine. I rec'd the same answer:mad: thankfully my mom rec'd her meds:thumbsup:

Well, my plea for a blue rope bone was answered, and I have one on the way to ME! Ernie, thanks again for your thoughtfulness! I'll definitely post pics when it arrives.

That's awesome! I was also able to work out a trade for one. We're going to wait until after Christmas to exchange our wares in hopes that USPS gets back to their usual great service however. Looking forward to seeing yours and absolutely can't wait until mine arrives.

I wonder what Eric has in store for us in the new year? I hope he continues with these for a while and as I recall he mentioned fix blades at some point.

Was the "first 15" drop the knives that were released about Halloween? Have there only been 2 drops so far?
I believe the first batch shipped in Sept, the second batch was when the website went live around Halloween. There was one more group added to the website after that.

Ok, thanks so much. That's what I suspected. I was able to buy a few when the website went live, but it was purely dumb luck. I had just Googled his business, and was actually looking at his website, and magically knives just started dropping from the sky! Incredible timing.
