My steel supplier (for 1095) had mistakenly sent a 10XX steel to me. I used these 3 bars of 1 x 1/8 x 72 to make MPS blanks. Peters Heat Treat discovered that they weren't quit 1095 but, are definitely a 10XX steel. The Rc is 55 on these. I thought they may be good for a father/son project or handle practice. It would still make for a decent knife. These will arrive steel finished, with a secondary bevel, no handle, no sheath and no logo.
All Sold - 0 of 24 remaining - MPS blanks at OAL 8, cutting edge at 3 1/2. Cut out of 1/8 stock, pin holes are 1/4 inch. Grind is full flat from Spine to edge by me.- $19 each shipped CONUS.
