Aluminum Anodize

Hi all,

Does anyone know a guy who can do black anodizing for aluminum? Wanted to see what it would cost to get a small project anodized. Thanks!
 
The anodizing companies I have worked with charge around $70 for a minimum order. For the work involved that is not a bad price. This is who I use in Portland OR. Just in case you can't find a home shop to do it cheaper.
 
Most shops tend to be willing to include small one off items with a larger production batches for a nominal fee. particularly if it is a common color, and black anodizing is about as common as it gets.
 
Not offhand, no. I knew a guy, but he wasn't in the best of health 25 years ago when I last spoke with him
