I find myself beginning to prefer aluminum over G10 as a handle material, but my only aluminum-scaled knife has a bead-blasted and hard anodized finish. This type of finish seems to have been replaced by Tufram and Almite finishes. I was wondering if anyone could describe the differences and advantages of these finishes over the older style.
