how do you guys get that nice amber stag color? I've attached pics to show what I like. Is there anyway to dye a completed knife, stag or bone, and achieve this?

my experience is that you need to buy the premium stag, and perhaps already dyed as mentioned above.
I've tried using that Potassium Permanganate and never was able to get the color I wanted

Buy it dyed from Culpepper, or send them your stag and have it dyed.

Amber stag? Buy it from Culpepper. PP makes the regular kinda black and white stag we're all use to. Amber:

Culpepper will also dye your stag for ya if ya want.

I've heared that some people use a torch on antler to darken it.
I tried it once without good result

There is natural amber stag and dyed amber stag. Any stag is hard to get these days, compared to the olden days.
