I know that the folder limit is 3.5" in Denver. Does this apply to all of CO or just Denver? I'm in Boulder, Golden, and Lakewood all the time.

The state law in CO is that it's illegal to conceal blades over 3.5". You can carry any size of legal knife, folding or fixed, as long as it's visible.

Denver's law is more restrictive: it prohibits carrying a knife with a blade over 3.5" period, whether or not it's concealed.

Boulder's and Golden's laws are the same as the state law. Lakewood's ordinances don't appear to be online, but there should be copies at Jefferson County libraries.
