Another special edition Zero Tolerance, Snap-On anniversary

For $200, the ZT 0801BLK gives you all that the ZT 0095AN has except exclusivity.

I don't see a single one being sold yet. Those two have a starting price of $650! Nuts! They've made 1,000 of these!

It's not very limited, and the price is insane. What were they thinking? Who would bother? If there were, say, 100 of these in total, they might sell - but just look at the 0801S110VBLK from Going Gear; There are only ninety-something of them out there, but $425 is a tough pill to swallow for such a plain-looking folder, and, as such, they still have 38 at this time... Weeks and weeks later.

Remember this Snap-on ZT is not much different than say a ZT 0808 with the same S35VN and KVT bearings!!!

The Going Gear ZT 0801S110V has at least S110V and limited to only 98 pieces. As you said, they have problems selling them. It went on sale on April 28th and they still have 38 left. The price is $325 not $425.

Well I finally got mine after 6 weeks of waiting. It is the nicest knife I know own. Pricey but I didnt pay the MSRP for it. My tool truck guy had gotten 2 of them, opened one and let me picked one which to have. The opened one had a very strong detent when closed to the point were most times I had to open the blade manually, couldnt flip it. I took the unopened one, its #934

I have to start by pleading ignorance on the larger subject...what is so great about Snap On tools in general? My understanding is that they are quite pricey compared to competitors, and the knives carrying their brand certainly are. My experience with the brand is limited to seeing their sponsorship in auto racing and occasionally seeing one of their box trucks on the road. Please enlighten me...AKA tell me why people pay literally double the price for the same knife they could get without the logo on it.

some stuff is awesome. the double 80 ratchet are by far the best ratchets I've ever used each click is like a 1* movement which makes them really smooth and very good in tight places with shit access, now for sockets and extensions the us craftsmen stuff is probably good enough for most people. craftsmen ratchets kinda suck in my opinion.

It looks to me like a Kershaw Ruby, like the model 4040 that came out for the KAI 40th anniversary, except it has a finger groove up front. That's the closest I can come to matching it with an existing model.

Look at the newly released ZT 0999. It looks much closer to that than the ruby. Not to mention it would make more sense seeing that the 0999 is a new model.

The picture you referenced makes the screw look silver, it's not. It is black.

My inlay is fit perfectly, with no gaps.

Crowded appearance and excess graphics. Yeah, it's a 95th anniversary knife. Shocker! They wanted to call it out.

It is like trying to get a none knife person to understand the difference in quality and build between a $20 chinese discount knife and a $80 american made knife. Most people dont care, the knife will cut, the wrench will loosen a bolt. When you really want to get down to it, a snap on wrench will last longer, be less likely to round off a bolt, better warranty, feel nicer in your hand. And I can attest, you can hold a harbor freight wrench in your hand, then hold a comparable snap on and you can feel the difference.

Here's where the pricing of the Snap-on ZT 0095AN at $595.95 falls flat on its face. At the 2015 Blade Show ZT announced the Limited Edition 0095 which is pretty much the 0095AN minus the DLC and inlay. It goes for an MSRP of $275!

If/when ZT comes out with a regular production version of this same knife it'll probably have a street price of around $200!
