Anyone else going to the Spirit of Steel Knife Show in Dalton, GA this weekend 3/12?

I'm going to go down and check it out on Saturday. I'll be heading down in the morning. I'm not getting a table there or anything, i just want to go hang out. I will have some knives to show off with me though. Can't leave the house without 'em.

held March 11, 12, 13, 2011 at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center
(just off I-75).

As far as i know, it's mostly makers, but don't hold me to it. I've never been.

How was the show?

It was a cool day out. Small show. Don't read that as bad, read it as intimate. Small attendance. Not a problem for me as a non table holder. Lots of Case pocketknife collections. Pretty stuff.

Got to meet the folks at Spartan Blades. That was good. They're good folks, and have tips and helps for Dylan and I as we start up our production runs. So that in itself was worth it.

But just hanging out and looking at knives was good.
