Anything I should know about satin finish?

I am wondering if it would scuff up and show damage a lot more than, for instance, stone wash. However, I also know just about nothing about satin finish so if there is anything else I should consider before buying a knife with this finish, I'd appreciate the information.

Stonewash will hide general usage marks better than a satin finish, however on a "user" knife it really doesn't matter. There are many different versions of both satin and stonewash depending on whos knife you buy. I'd say get whatever appeals to you the most, there are no "performance" advanatages/disadvantages either way.
