Blade is 6 1/2 inches flat ground/edge hardened 1080 steel, photo etched on the front is a bobcat in the brush, the back side is etched with bobcat tracks trailing down the blade

Handle is curly maple with 40 brass pins per side

sheath is 8/9 oz leather

overall length is 11 1/4 inches

Very cool Blade.Photo Etched?Do you mean an Electro-Chem Etch type unit with a stencil you created using unexposed stencil material and a light box ?Unfortunatly for you more questions to follow after you answer these.:D
 
Photo etching, the same process used to make micro chips and print type, the surface is treated with a light sensitive resist, a negative made on transparent film is placed over the surface, exsposed to UV light then developed in a bath, then the surface is acid etched. there is no stencil or electricity involved. this process allows more options than a stencil and in finer detail.
