Bandsaw blade TPI Poll!

I have been using DeWalt 14/18TPI blades from Amazon. Nick turned me on to these a while back. They have been working great for me... although it looks like Amazon is no longer carrying the 3-pack.

Patrice, I mean the silica in the iron.

Mark how do you feel those die master blade hold up to morse bimetal blades? Also do you know what alloy is used for the teeth?

My customers in the metal fabrication business regard Lenox and Do-all as the best, I was a Morse dealer for a little while but my customers, by far, prefered Lenox. Do-All are very good blades however they are much more expensive and Do-All is phasing out all of it's "weld centers" They do not sell wholesale any more. The material in the teeth of all Bi-Metal blades is High Speed Steel, of course there are grades of HSS, that's why some brands of Bi-metal blades last longer than others. Diemaster II blades are made with M42 HSS, That is supposed to be one of the highest grades of the stuff.

heavy Iron oxide(rust) will screw up allot of good tooling. Anyway if your after only a few blades, try your local acklands or fastenall.
