Another superb piece from Shaun & Sharla Hansen and my final piece picked up at Blade this year. This one has a 5" blade and like the other 2 pieces-

this one also has Hansen forged fiery carved damascus blade/bolsters with premium pearl scales and is a double action. This one adds large guards and a nice skull crusher.

just10minreader is correct. It is a rocker release and only the bottom portion of the double diamond needs to be pressed to fire the blade. It can also be opened manually with the pearl inlayed thumb studs.

Thats a fantastic folder. The finest I've seen for some time. I wish I knew more about the materials and how the colors are done. Thanks for sharing. Those macro-shots are appreciated too. Man O Man!!

Thanks Bruce. The damascus is totally polished on blade and bolsters - all smooth. Not sure of the process used but it is definitely unique. No doubt a lot of work has been put into these pieces...really, it is what attracted me to these "art" piece in the first place - a ton of detail!
