Becker Brute Sheath

I would really like to have the Kydex sheath for my Brute, (mine has the leather sheath).

I mount my knives on my day pack upside down. Will the Kydex sheath keep the knife locked in without the strap when you are running, with a lot of up and down pack movement?

Will any other becker models sheath fit the first gen brute?

i think it would hold for a while but how far are you traveling and how fast you're running but i wouldn't reccomend that you do that you could possibly lose your knife

kinda hard to tell what the retention on a custom sheath is going to work...

if seen some that have a detent of some type that lifts manually out of the way for a draw, but that might be awkward the way you describe your mounting preference.
