Behemoth use

All of the use my BC gets is yard work. I’ve chopped down a couple dead trees. I use it to hack down some sawgrass every year (two years), and a lot of de-limbing.
It really impressed me when trimming back some bushes.
It’s a big blade and fairly thick. I didn’t expect it to sail through multiple layers of thin branches the way it did.

I've used a Behemoth for quite some time and have not been particularly kind to it. Due to it's bevel geometry, it bites deep and slices really well, but you have to be careful when chopping because it's quite a flexible knife that will deflect with some energy if you get sloppy with an oblique hit. I think if it were a simple flat grind it would be stiffer, but it would also be heavier. The S grind makes for very nice balance on a knife this large, and rewards accuracy with reliable, deep cuts.

I have found no edge damage at all on my knife, apart from the kind of blunting you might expect chopping through big logs. The nature of the steel and its heat treatment allows easy restoration regardless of damage
