I am one of those Traditional knife nuts who loves brass bolsters. I dig the copper too, but I have a soft spot for the brass beauties.

Here’s my humble few.

Buck 55, walnut
Trestle Pine Gunflint, oak
GEC 44, cocobolo
Michael May Lambsfoot, Bocote

I’d love to see other brass and copper examples. Whatcha got???

Yes. I think this is going to be a cool thread with some nice knives.

I have a few. Some have been used less than others. Which, for me, means not much these days.

These are all fantastic Gordon. The Buck 113 has been on my list for awhile. I love the lines of that knife. And I was hoping you’d give us a Boker show. So good!

Thank you Jon. The 113 is a handy thing.

Boker has had a good run of some excellent and unique material combos for a few years now.

Love this lamb and the facets of the bolster. Remind me…who is the maker? I can’t quite make out the stamp or etch.

3 brass beasts! Love that stag. I think a brass/stag combo is really underrated.

What a great treasure to have.

Drool overwhelms me. Each one of these is functional, hardworking art. Thanks for sharing!
Who needs a brass bolster when you can have a full brass knife? Tyne for the win. Awesome crew of golden goodies Bob 💪🏼.
