I've seen a couple of these since I've gotten into knifemaking but I've never seen any for sale or in metal shops outside the knife business. Are these all custom made or can you buy them like a traditional surface grinder?
I have a surface grinder that I got for a song, but I don't see it being as useful as a belt grinder. If you guys are making them are there any plans or threads out there of people building them? When I try to search I get all kinds of unrelated results because I'm not sure what the actual name is, if they have one!
