I recently got my hands on a Benchmade 750 and a 770 prototype from a forum member.
I like the 750 a lot but I really didnt like the teflon washers and the finish on the titanium slabs.
So - using my friends lovingly worn Sebenza as a guide I re-did the slabs to look sort of washed out and smooth with more wear on the edges than the center - but smooth all over rather than the gritty original finish (edit: I used micromesh wet sandpaper from 100-400). I think it came out great - the knife looks much nicer overall. I also upgraded the washers - bronze right now - but stainless on the way. One item of note - they left that gritty finish EVERYWHERE - iincluding where the washers touch the slabs - not the best idea for smooth action.
