Photos Benchmade Crooked River authenticity

I don't know if it is a fake, but the one that I had, and the ones that I've seen online have "us patent #xxxx" under S30V.

Mate, I can confidently say that if that is a counterfeit then they have done such a good job you should buy it anyway! ;)

(It’s real. Or, at least, those photos are photos of a real Crooked River.) The grind lines on the blade are typically brutal, (sloppy?), but it is a serious knife. The lock up is Adamas style, with a longer, more elegant blade. It is a killer knife, and highly underrated. It is actually a bit scary for people who are not into knives. Just saying...

It looks okay to me although mine is a customized model with Damasteel ladder blade and carbon fiber scales!IMG_20200624_144641.jpg
