Benchmade micro Pocket Rocket

Not for me. I never carry my Benchmade Benchmite either (seems about the same size). Too small for my big mitts.

If they made this an integral knife with ceramic bearings and detent and a hand-ground blade signed by Sibert, it would still be about $100 too expensive for what you get.

Clearly, there’s a market (see: OP) but I imagine this is going to be shortlisted for discontinuation, maybe before the year is even out.

This model fills a role for some and that is cool. Price is always relative but $340 is too rich for my blood.

Too small yet too big. Get a Zieba Mini S1 instead. Same price or cheaper and a custom. It will probably cut better as well.

I already spent an absurd amount on a tiny knife when I bought my Olamic Busker. It was worth every penny, though. It fits great in a watch-pocket, and every single thing about it is quality.

This little brick from Benchmade though, giving it a pass.

I had a Mini Pocket Rocket and kinda liked it. I thought it would fill a work-carry role, but it was really too short and blocky to be of any use for carpentry. It also had the weakest detent by far of any knife I've ever handled. The blade would fall out with the lightest shake. I ended up selling it and don't see this even smaller edition filling any useful role for me. And the price?:eek::eek:

400? Man, I really wanted this until I saw the price...I could get a good auto AND have a good lunch for this price!

Not my cup of tea personally, but I am keeping an eye on this. Given that price tag, and the direct competition with knives like the techno 2 in size category, I am very interested in the fit and finish, and the QC.

Seems like a tough sell at that price point, especially considering the similarities to something like the ZT0900, which comes in at significantly less.

I love micro knives but this is a pass. Design did not wow me and with an overpriced Benchmade pricetag.

As everyone else noted the price is outrageous. Especially with some of the Chinese micro framelocks coming in at this size with the same materials for under $100.

For 400$ this thing better walk my dog, pick up my groceries and do my taxes.
