I am intrigued by the wave knives. I think a wave knife with an Axis Lock would be sick.
Here is a knife that was moded with a zip tie. I would pass on this, but it gives you an idea of the possibilites.

Other companies have asked in the past and made some amazing knives with waves and opening holes. Maybe BM will ask this time to use a design aspect of another company this time.
 
If they do, I hope they'll realise that they can make it even easier on blades with thumbstuds, as an 'add-on' feature (without any changes to the blade).
