Best Boot Treatment Product?

I've used Limmer Boot Grease on my Limmers and other leather boots since the late 1970s, and I concur with Pinnah on its qualities. Really good stuff.

What's the collective wisdom on mink oil? I've seen both Kiwi's Camp Dry and Penguin's mink oil. Neither of these appear to be pure — the Kiwi seems to have a fair bit of wax in it, while the Penguin's seems to have less. Thoughts?

Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP has worked well for me for years. It allows the leather to breathe and does not interfere with or damage waterproof/breathable membranes like Gore-Tex.

+1 on Snoseal. Then again it's the only one that I have tried. But it's worked very well so I haven't needed to try anything else.

Fluid Film. It has a million uses. Seriously, research it. Contains sheeps wool oil or "Lanolin". I use it to undercoat my vehicles & a million other things. It repels water & can be used on knives or any metal to prevent rust, does not harm paint, can be used on leather, etc... . Avail online or at my local john Deere dealer. aerosol, 1 gal, 5 gal containers. You can also spray wood with it to repel water.

Obenoufs lp. Good, well oiled leather is very water resistant and breathable. It is just skin after all. I used to put silicone crap on my work boots and it waterproofed them like nothing else but had no breathability and is not good for the leather. (Would you put silicone on YOUR skin?) obenoufs is amazing

Montana Pitch or Obenauf's are all I use on all my leather products, from boots to sheaths to quivers.
