New?
Was that not released in 1996?
Spyderco released a new bread knife:
"K01SBK Bread Knife NEW!
Few kitchen cutting chores challenge a serrated edge more than cutting breadespecially soft, freshly baked bread. Spydercos all-new K01 Bread Knife redefines the group by combining our time-tested original design with 40 years of experience and refinement of serrated edges. Its remarkably thin MBS-26 stainless steel blade features an evolved serration pattern that cuts soft breads and cake without crushing or tearing and powers through hard-crusted food almost effortlessly. Its injection-molded polypropylene handle is molded directly onto the tang and has a stepped texture pattern for a secure, comfortable grip."
I think the BladeHQ image is wrong because the tip is not so rounded from the Spyderco catalog and KnifeCenter.

THE BURNS BREAD KNIFE (it says on blade)
SHAPE NO. 3 PAT. 8-23-21
THE BURNS MFG. CO,. SYRACUSE, N.Y., U.S.A.
STAINLESS STEEL
This one cuts all breads cleanly with its alternating mini shark-tooth thin blade, 8" long. I paid 25 cents at a thrift store several years ago, and I see them for $40 on EBay as "vintage". I have never used a better bread knife, and you can not convince me a better one exists. The woman used it on meat once, and it did well, but now I keep it in a locked drawer.
I thought that was an old potato.
