While I think "tactical" is purely aesthetic for a folding knife and folding knives are generally terrible as defensive tools; that's a more fundamental issue for the knife community.

This is an interesting design. I'm happy to see a new tip-down knife. While another big debate was supposedly "settled" in favor of tip-up, I only feel that way when I'm carrying in a regular pants pocket. If I'm carrying a folder in my back pocket, a shirt pocket, or a breast or vest pocket; I generally prefer tip-down.

I'd like to see more tip-down knives, especially in smaller or flatter sizes. At the very least, I'd appreciate holes for mounting a clip that way. (Do not do this for recessed clips.)
