best stabby and thick bladed knife.

To the OP, I'd sincerely and seriously recommend the Ti Lite series from Cold Steel

Different sizes to choose, durable thick blade, slicing ability even though it doesn't seem like that, strong lock, aluminum or Zytel handle, easy to open and close, and inexpensive (especially the AUS8 steel ones)

A serious suggestion that I think would be perfect for you:

If you don't mind having a very high quality folder that actually can cut with the primary edge I suggest this knife, the WEknife 601. Don't have one but have heard nothing but positive feedback about them, and look at that tip! I think even for prying and stabbing walls .156 edge thickness is enough :)

Boker biker , SM-10T , rampage & ginger fighter. All are beefy n thick 4.5-6mm

Kwaiken.

Why would you want to stab a wall?

Stab a wall with a knife having a minimal guard?!? No thanks.

My second choice would either be a screwdriver, ice pick, or Stanley Fubar for wall penetration (first choice, of course, is my one-inch punch) ....but I will run something knife-y up the flagpole and see who salutes....

CS Counter Point? Eh? Anybody bite on that one?

Good point, Marcie and I did ponder that before posting the kwaiken suggestion.

But the OP asked for the following; 1. A knife with a thick tip. 2. A knife with a not too thin blade.

Most kwaiken that Ive seen, seem to have those bases covered just fine.....and who is to say, that the OP is not holding the knife with pliers and using a mallet to hammer the knife into the wall. There was no mention of bare handed wall hammering:D

(I wonder if those carrying kwaikens do so only for the slicing and not for stabbing? There are some over in the customs forum, but I have yet to ask).

Screwdriver?

Actually a BESH WEDGE might be just the ticket come to think of it.

I suppose you could do like they do with pukkos and cup your hand over the butt of the knife and stab that way.

As for the screwdriver, I suppose I could have been more specific, for penetrating drywall, nothing beats a Phillips screwdriver. :D

And that Besh Wedge idea is a good one! Though the grind is too "Escher" for me. Makes my head hurt.

There are also the Steel Will Knives Adept 1000 and Adept 1010 which are good for cutting and thrusting/stabbing with a strong tip and G-10 scales. Quality made in Italy. N690Co steel with a 5.63" (1000 - double-edged dagger) or 5.91" (1010 - tanto) blade length and 0.20" blade thickness.

These look pretty future-cool. Are they shit?

^ those are sweet.

Italians make all sorts of nice, quality solid things, on par, if not better than made in the US.

Still haven't found tools from Asia as precise, although definitely getting better with the fit and less soggy steel.
