Here's another Wharncliffe with a full handle that I just got back from Heat teeat. This one is hollow ground and I am deciding what handle to put on it. Same handle profile as my EDC Skinners and drop points.

You also may want to try out a Fallkniven Wm1, at 2.7 ounces it's got a nice comfy handle as well. I believe it comes in several different steel flavors.

My favorites are Cold steel super edge, crkt minimalist and fallkniven wm1. The lightest is the super edge, the crkt minimalist for self-defense and the most useful is wm1

These three all get pocket carry. There is a pretty nice leather sheath for the Skrama, but it carries smaller with the crap tape sheath. The Anza 2BU is discontinued, but the guy who made the sheath still has a couple. The minimalist blade is from a forum maker, don’t remenber his name.

Best super light neck knife with secure sheath? My vote goes to the Cold Steel Bird and Trout knife. I've carried this version on and off for 10 years now (not daily, just every time I want or need a neck knife), since December of 2013. The sheath on the current version is a little different, but I have no doubts it will be just as secure. It clicks in place well and has never come loose doing things such as fishing, canoeing, chainsawing trees, splitting wood, etc. $30.

Blade is 2.25", 6.31" overall, and you asked for super light - the advertised weight is 0.8 ounce.

I switched from a Spyderco Ark to a Camillius Heater II. I hate the sheath on the Ark. The heater II is a bit heavy.

I'm looking for a super light weight option.

The Schrade spare change is less than an ounce.

Can anyone make me a super light weight yet ultra secure neck sheath for one of these blades? Would prefer kydex with and extra thumb snap so it has double retention.

I've given the Woman With No Name a few knives over the years but she never carries any of them outside the house. I like the set up you made for your wife, very cool that she actually carries it with her. Below is a sample of the type of knife I have given to my better half.

The MKM Mikro is 2.5 oz with sheath and chain and M390. Now that's a really excellent knife if you want to actually cut things.

Of course it all depends on your intended use for a neck knife but this is more capable than its size indicate. I think It also comes in a clip point. Small Sebenza for size reference
