Hey all - even though the thick knives seem to be in vogue a bit the last number of years (and I own some) I constantly seem to find my self picking up my mora's and Helle's despite there supposed limitations being thin light, mid tier steel and not full tang. The balance, light weight and cutting performance seem to make up most/if any shortcomings. So since we had a thread for sharpened crowbars the other day I figured I would open a thread for thin outdoor fixed blades. Let me know what you like and recommend.

^^ This

Neither of these are full tang, but both used extensively and perform exceptionally.

This is a job for @DeadboxHero

He might be the world champion of lightweight, thinly ground, steel + ht to support the geometry makers right now. I’m not a fixed blade guy, but a few friends have his work and rave about it.
Those are awesome! I will have to keep an eye out for anything he puts on the market!

IMG_0139.JPG Maybe a little smaller, but I like the utility of small bird and trout knives. I have a Big Chris hunter in 01 in 1/16 steel, very light but it is handy, reach for it when I play with my knife collection. See that one below.

don't know if you would class them as thin but there are Sheffield small bowie ranging in size from 3 to 6 inch there nice
ka bar shorts and mark1s are 5.25 the nice light small enough and not too small I like them
I perfair a fixed to a folders and the ones iv suggested come in a few different handal and blade styles I like them better than Mora style
