Best time of the Year to Buy Knives

Right before the holiday season is when you can get good deals off the forums or from individual sellers on eBay. People are selling off their dust collectors to raise funds for gifts and vacation and whatnot.
 
Clearance sales... or regular sales.
Just keep your eye on those products on several places, sooner or later it'll be on discount somewhere.
When my friend sent me "I got one" and link with Warcraft Tanto at -33% discount from reputable European site... I knew I'd have one too :D
from 300 to 200€, meaning I saved 100€ on a knife I wanted to buy for full price just few days before it but decided to wait it out because Corona crisis might be bad.
I'm glad I waited, and I'm also grateful to my friend.

I might talk him into getting on this forum too one day :D
 
I'll agree with several previous comments. Whenever the knife you are interested in pops up on the exchange for a great price. :thumbsup:

I check several of the big, well known knife sites about once a week for discontinued, clearance, or flash sales to see if something catches my eye.

Best time for me is my birthday, Father's Day, hunting season, and don't forget Christmas.;)
 
around my birthday and Christmas-they make great presents :)
or at least I seem to think so, since I usually buy myself one
Not too sure on standard productions, but high end productions and customs can sometimes be had a reasonable prices on the exchange just before the big shows. People are trying to gather up some extra cash for new purchases.
 
On second thought, probably about 5-8 weeks ago. Your 12 pack of Charmin tp could have been traded for a nice Spyderco, BM, etc.

LOL! Well, I'd argue that the day before that would be the better day, I gotta agree that timing is everything sometimes.

I used to be on e-mail lists and surf the dealers for scores, but I've since learned that the BFC exchange fills my shopping needs nicely.

Maybe right after S.H.O.T. Show or Blade Show there might be some outfits with stuff left over, but that's just a top-o-my-head theory.
