Best Travel Spoon/Spork/Utensil/etc

I love my LMF TiSpork. The thing works even better than the plastic ones thanks to being thinner and more rigid.

Another thing to consider about the plastic/lexan LMF, since it does crack what are the chances that those cracks can harbor bad stuff, esp if you're camping and just surface wipe clean?

Recieved my plastic LMF sporks yesterday and used one at lunch today. I thought it worked perfectly well (granted I didn't try to cut anything with it, but I hadn't bought it with that purpose in mind). If I get addicted to it I may try the Ti one, but for the price I couldn't beat getting four plastic ones at half the cost of the Ti.

Anyone know a source for Titanium SPOONS not sporks. I hate sporks and like another poster said, I don't need a fork. If I did I'd just make a couple of chopsticks from a tree branch.:D

Guyot Microbites are great because it gives you a spatula, pack together, they are under 6 bucks, and they are light. However, I have been eliminating all plastics from my life as far as food and water go.

Another thing to consider. If you are using a Jet Boil brand stove you will need a long utensil.

There are tons of folding titanium sporks (Optimus, Brunton, and REI TiWare to name a few) and then you always have your ESEE for the rest of the stuff you cut and subsequently shovel into your face.

Sea to summit makes some good SPOONS.

My friend, you need a genuine, U.S. Government Issue metal spoon. It's big, it's tough and it's steel and it has a hole in the right end of it so you can tie a lanyard to it or whatever else you might need to use that for. :D

They're awesome.

Hey don,

Do you have any idea where to get one?

Thanks,
-Richard.

The Ti LMF is good kit. Here's mine.

However, my favorite spork isn't even titanium. It's the Sea to Summit Alpha Light made from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. Great spork.
