BK1 Becker Brute help needed

Hello
First time posting, two questions
1. I picked up a Becker Brute BK1 but no sheath. I have a BK9 and the BK1 fits the sheath for the BK9 but a bit snug due to the BK1’s blade being thicker. If I get another BK9 sheath and use that for the BK1, will that cause wear in either the blade or the sheath? Other options?
2. The BK1 has improper handles (bull horn that don’t fit), will replacement handles from Ka-Bar fit?

KaBar scales should be a pretty close fit.
Heating the bk9 liner and the brute to about 150-175 may allow the sheath liner to stretch enough to fit better, otherwise I'd look at getting a leather sheath made.
