BK1 Coating

I have many BM's but none with the BK1 coating on the blade. How well does it stand up to wear and scratches ?

It doesn't, the simple answer, if it comes to looks. But the coating does protect the blade even if badly worn. Just never mind the looks.

Haha. Ok thanks. I was seduced by the black blade and handle. Maybe I will stay away.
