BK19 in Arizona

I tried mine on kitchen duty also. It performed quite well. The coating wasn’t an issue either. I’m old school in that I like to take care of my tools. I cleaned the residue, oil ect from the blade with some flitz and stopped it to a very nice edge. This knife is on the low end of my collection but I really like it. It feels great especially with the Micarta scales. It’s a joy to use
