Bk7 Sheath and Handles

Becker handle scales, especially in micarta ......
Are one of the reasons Beckers are So popular.

*Welcome to BF....btw

I think you need relatively large hands and/or long fingers to really like the factory stock scales. To me, it's like trying to hold onto a giant bar of soap. Aftermarket scales solve the issue, but that goes back to the OP's point.

I find the handles just fine. I do want some micarta or G10 to compare, but I've used my knives and haven't had any problems so they're on the back burner. Sheaths though... My bk16, 7, and 10 all have kydex sheaths. The standard ones are OK and do the job, but kydex is so much better!
My bk2 sheath is fine though imo.

You won't find a scout carry sheath with many production knives... so do what you would do for any other knife you want to carry that way - have a sheath made to suit. As far as the handles, I've used them with and without gloves, and in a variety of conditions, and I don't think I've ever complained about them being slippery. If you do, try the micarta, or some grip tape, or stippling, or TKC scales, or - well, you get the idea.
