Blade Sharpening - Africa

Looks like that stone has been used since the dawn of time to be worn like that.

I wonder what kind of an edge they get with it, one might be surprised.

For the probable grade of steel in the knife, the angle looks about right for a durable edge. I think I'll stick to water to lube my stones rather than blood, though. ;)
 
Get that stone a little more concave and you could just rest the spine on the stone as a guide.
