BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

Thanks Spark Spark ... awesome pattern for this year. Really my favorite among GEC patterns, and to a guy who appreciates larger knives, I'm excited. Well done to Bill, the GEC crew and anyone else behind the scenes in the Traditionals forum. Just ordered and received confirmation. Can't wait until we receive these later this year. That's how I got mine in 2023. I had just joined then but got one of the extra's when they put them up for everyone. Don't know if they'll do the same this year.

Quoting myself here. I'm not Spark or a part of the project but here is what I remember from last year's run.

Thank you. That is also what I remember. I am as excited about all of the information/facts/oddities/Etc about a knife as I am about the actual knife !

Here's some Amber Jigged Bone on the BFK's close cousin (98 Texas Cattle Knife). I'll need to start carrying this more often so that the BFK will feel "small" in comparison! 😂

Results seem to be about 20 per page for my results (count yuor first page) and I have 5 pages. But... the last page only has about 6 on it so I am at about 4x20-80+6=86... A few short. ( 87 now)

I was on the fence about it too, but a jumbo stockman in jigged bone is calling my name. Not to mention I trust spark & all the others to make a great knife!
Even though I only have the '23 it's a great knife & I love seeing the pics of the past ones y'all post up 👍

edit - Well I'm friggin incompetent and 50 of you got your orders in for the knives when they were worded 2023 instead of 2024. That's too many to refund immediately so I am just going to cross my fingers and hope you guys understand that clicking on the announcement for the 2024 knife with it being 250 and a preorder is for the 2024 knife and not the 2023 version

We've gotten word back from Bill & crew at GEC about the 2024 Traditional Forum Knife

This is a RENDERING of the SHAPE of the knife. Handle material color, stamp, shield will be determined ASAP.

Thanks to inflation, my cost on these has increased by over 50%. I will eat as much of that as I can for preorders but we are looking at a substantial increase in price. Non-preorder pricing will be $300 ea or more.

Pre order pricing will be around $250, shipped to CONUS. International was a mess last year, we'll see how that plays out this year.

I will put pre order buttons up ASAP.
