Blades and books

Still have to read this, i thought this kind of knife would not be too far off from being carried by them, (I know, bowies were later) although it really would have been a butcher or some kind of skinner, roach belly or a rifleman's knife. Just thought they looked good together. So before Bowie and the sandbar fight, were there any clip point style knives that were around Lewis and Clarks' time? Spanish knives?

I’m sure there is a word for rearranging the same words and making two different titles but it escapes me right now, anagram but for words. Anyway theses books are kin, sort of, and so are the blades.
