BM Griptilian scales custom

I just got a set of the coyote brown scales with the Anso pattern.
I love the way they make my 550HG look and feel!!
They give the knife a bit of negative blade angle as compared with stock handles.
It makes the knife look super cool.

I'd have to say that these are the best Griptilian scales I've owned, but in all fairness I haven't tried all of the custom offerings out there yet, but I've tried a few from completely different customizers.

Well done, Igor!
These scales are great!!

Thanks,
Nate

I made this out of Canvas Micarta, The original wood handle on this pallet knife split and it was one of my favorite tools. You have to finish with very fine sand paper like Emory grade. That being said it's easy to scratch because it's much softer than G10, but does have an outstanding fee:Dl. I conclude by saying this tool is only sanded and buffed to it's current finish, with out any sealer.

Igor,
Awesome looking work on your scales. My main reason for scale shopping is that i don't like the thickness of the standard Griptilian. I saw your post with the thickness measurements and that helped but could you post an end to end pic like this one for comparison? Looking for a stock Griptilian preferably next to one with green canvas.

Thanks much

Warrior. Those flat edges on your Ritter before the scales round out to their shape, that's about the same thickness as Igors micarta scales. I was in the same boat as you, didn't like the fat roundish toy feeling noryl. I haven't been much more impressed with a purchase than when I popped my igorded scales on mine. I believe you'll be 100% satisfied if you decide to go with these.

As far as thickness, they are very close to one another
