First, Croc tail, a bear to work with but the effect is rather nice I think. :) Carving on both is from a head on photo shot of a Russian Boar. The tusks were amazing.

This one has an inlay of the last piece of Emu foot I had in my stock. I really really hope to get some more like this someday. It was veggie tanned and bleached so I could color it as I wanted. Perfect stuff.

Thanks for looking! These two pieces are one of my favorites so far. I'd love to show them to the Busse forum.

Awesome work as usual Dwayne!!! Big:thumbup: I might have to get that Boar's head carved on the sheath I am going to have you make for my grail NMFBMLE when the time comes (just placed the custom shop order).

BTW, the color on that Emu inlay looks mighty familiar. ;)

:D Thank you! And yep that was the very last piece I had with the large scales down the front. We're down to pieces with the smaller scales that surround the leg, and some toe pieces iirc. I really hope to come upon a farmer or tanner who offers the legs in the undyed form. They we're so nice.
