Short Story:

Back in the early 2000's I did a knife exchange with J. Neilson. I instantly loved the little blade he sent me and it became my EDC around the our small sheep ranch. I was so sad when it was lost, but elated when I found it 3 years later while hoeing in the garden. A little cosmetic damage, but nothing that affected its usability. As you can see in the photo, it's well loved.

Now roll forward to a few weeks ago when I met a ranch-hand in no-where Nevada. He wanted to checkout my cherished old knife and instantly fell in love with it too. He said is was the perfect size and configuration for skinning bobcat. Well, you just can't let a special use like that just float away in a Nevada dust storm. So I offered to make him a copy.

This replica is slightly larger and I reshaped the guard a little more to my liking. Other than that, it's the same. So here it is:
