Why is the Boker A/F Boot Knife ground only on one side? I don't know why they'd make the full size model ground on both sides and the boot knife with this stupid one sided grind? It almost makes me want to return the knife.

The boot knife is what you call "triple ground" - many FIGHTING daggers are done this way, or have been in the past 30 years, out of the belief that the triangular shape leaves a wound that wont close up on itself as much. I dont think it matters - either they have hole that doesnt close and they bleed out all over themselves, the sidewalk and you, or they have a hole that does close and they bleed out internally.
You should be trying to hit vitals and not make them bleed out anyway.

If you want it just for your collection, keep it in appreciation of what a pain in the ass that grind can be to do (trust me, I know - I've done it)

But if you dont like it, you can give it to me, I'll be glad to receive un-happy-making merchandise to spare a fellow knife knut any pain
