Monday morning here, and I just got off the phone with TJT at Boker in his official capacity. We had a friendly exchange both of us tripping over our respective tongues to apologize for our earlier exchange....nothing TJT really needs to regret as I should have followed protocol and contacted Boker first before posting here. Had I had the sense to do that here is what I would have discovered : Boker stands behind everything they sell and TJT as their official representative will go above and beyond, with courtesy and good humor, to take care of any problem. In my case he will replace the knife and perhaps send along some "best wishes". I will keep you all posted and when my knew knife arrives we can do a "real" review of a fine Boker slipjoint. My review of JTJ should be obvious : he is a first class gentleman with first class customer service skills !
