Boker Solingen Germany Alemania

Seems like a good place to ask this question.
I have a Boker Solingen Germany Alemania congress pen knife.
From what I've read, these were made between 1960-1970.
The handle material is red. Does anyone know what material was used on these knives back then. I would like to think it's bone. But not 100%.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
Almost everything we've made that has a red handle is bone.
Very few items were wood, and they were usually older than that.
So, it is more likely bone, which is all I can say without being able to
look at it up close.
