Or just an everyday slicer for the kitchen.
The blade is thin and flexes like a filet knife but is not wimpy.
It is made from 52100 high carbon steel and properly heat treated to Rc 58-60 with a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Slight convex grind
Handle is blaze box elder with a red carbon fiber spacer. The blaze color is caused by insects living in the tree, the holes have been filled and the handle professionally stabilized
Overall length: 9 3/4 inches
Blade: 5 1/2 inches
