The blade length is 5.8" and the thickness is nearly 1/4". The blade is convex ground down to zero, i.e. there is no micro bevel. The tip is strong enough to go through a brick wall and not even feel it. This knife is literally built like a tank and sharp as a straight razor!
CPM-S35VN contains in its mixture 0.5% niobium. According to Crucible this addition increases the toughness of CPM-S35VN by 15%-20% vs that of CPM-S30V while it is easier to re-sharpen than CPM-S30V. Furthermore, the 14% chromium ensures excellent corrosion resistance.
The handle is made of bullet-proof Green Micarta. It is aesthetically appealing and offers a very secure handle grip. The full tang of the knife extends past the handle and forms a large striking surface which also offers an ample lanyard slot.
