I just completed this one and hope you like it. Blade made from 15n20. The blade has a cutting edge that is 6 7/8 inches in length and overall length is 11 3/4 inches. It is 1 1/2 inches wide and at spine is .0062 thick. Wide enough to make it a dream for cutting veggies and scooping them and for chopping meat up fine at the camp etc. It is flat ground and I did the grind to the quick. What I mean is the secondary bevel is very small because it was sharp before I sharpened it. The handle is Brazilian rosewood and does not need to be stabilized as it has wax and oils in the wood. This is a VERY rare rosewood and hard to get. It is the wood Gibson guitars got in trouble with.
